In July 1991, the Shiroyama factory was spun off
from Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. and established as an independent entity to specialize
in the manufacture of manual transmissions.
Taking as our central philosophy the promise of Quality Above All, Aisin AI has
built upon the rich experience and technical know-how we accumulated in the Aisin
Seiki era to produce attractive products that please customers the world over.
When the company was established, our goal was to become the number one manual
transmission maker in the world. We are developing our business to establish a
presence in markets the world over.
In the future, we will continue to be a competitive global player, by developing
safe, comfortable products that provide a fun and enjoyable driving experience,
